Just passin' thru

I'm in Steamboat Springs now and intend to turn South on 131 ASAP. I'll make Oak Creek today and stop there. There's a storm in the mountains and it's cold. I may end up moteling it aqain if it's too cold to camp. I've been riding in the rain all day...not just a spninkle either...it's a doozy of a storm and I'm soaked. I've been advised that 131 is under construction, so I'll detour on 14, which runs past Stagecoach Res.

I've decided not to go all the way to Denver after all. I'm headed straight for Buena Vista and plan on car transport from there to Florence, CO, where I'll rest up for a bit before blasting off toward home.

I'm not sure if Oak Creek will have service, so this could be my last contact until tomorrow afternoon.
